Whizzer motor assisted cycles, gas powered 4 stroke motors our small engine motorcycles have always commanded attention!!!

In 1951 nine year old Ralph Westman was working 3 jobs to buy his first whizzer motor bike. After several years he saved enough money to purchase his 1st whizzer, it was green with cream pin strips.

 

Ralphs' father was very strict, so he could't tell him  about his Whizzer.

  Eventually dad found out and gave Ralph strict instruction "Not to leave the backyard, with the bike!", if he did the bike would be smashed. Ralph a typical 14-yr old occasionally snuck out with his Whizzer.

  He got caught and his dad lived up to his promise. SMASHED AND TOSSED IN THE TRASH!

 

Ralphs love for the Whizzer Just couldn't let his bike end up in the garbage pit. When his dad went to work he removed it from the trash, and brought it to a friends' for safe keeping.

 

  By 1960 Ralph owned 3 Whizzer Motorbikes and was running a small buisness fixing/selling them.

Uncle sam called Ralph to serve his country.

Ralph sold his 1st whizzer(still smashed) to a friend for $50 with the intentions when he returned home he would get his bike back. In '63 upon his return, his friend didn't have the bike.

 

"1996" Ralph saw an ad in Walnecks Magazine for a Whizzer bike,the same yr. as his 1st Whizzer and the ad indicated it was a basket case. Ralph drove to Indiana to check it out and when he looked at the last 4 digits of the serial number(3233) He realized he just found the the 1st Whizzer that he purchased as a child.

$1800 to buy it back!

  

 

In 1998 Ralph became a dealer for Whizzer Motorbikes, specializing in high performance modifications and the manufacturer of high performance parts.
